Spotify and Amazon Music Both Raise U.S. Prices in February 2026

Published 2026-02-25 · TrimWell Media News

Music streaming joined the 2026 wave of subscription price increases. According to SEC filing data cited in Reservoir Media’s FY2026 annual report, Amazon Music raised prices for its Music Unlimited subscribers in the U.S. and U.K. in February 2026, following a previous increase in 2023.

The same filing notes Spotify also increased U.S. Premium prices in February 2026 — marking the platform's third price increase in three years, following prior hikes in 2023 and 2024.

Separately, LiveNOW from FOX reported the new Spotify Premium price at $12.99/month after the February increase.

By contrast, the same reporting notes Apple last raised its individual and family music plan prices in the U.S. back in 2022, while YouTube Music and Deezer have held steady since 2023 — a reminder that not every service in a category moves in lockstep.
